Newtown Rail Trail Needs Some Northampton Love
Dear Northampton Residents,
Our Northampton members asked that we send you this message.
Four of the five municipalities that the proposed Newtown Rail Trail passes through have given their support to the Bucks County Commissioners to design the 8.5 mile long trail across our county from Upper Southampton to Newtown Borough.
The only exception is Northampton Township. The Northampton Twp Board of Supervisors (BOS) has not approved the trail yet nor taken a vote.
The Northampton BOS needs to hear from our 40,000 Twp residents that they want this linear park and trail built to replace the overgrown, unused 4.5 mile rail line portion in our township. Bucks County has committed to paying for the design and construction of the trail.
GO TO THIS link TODAY TO SEND AN EMAIL TO THE Northampton Twp Board of Supervisors that asks them to vote yes for Bucks County to build the Newtown Rail Trail.
Make sure all your friends and family over 14 years old complete a separate form by forwarding the link to this form.
